On November 2006, I started interacting with the world and become obsessed with it. I started with Friendster, the first public social networking site. I had a lot of friends. About near 150s. If you do not know Friendster, I tell you what--it sucks; I don't even recommend you to sign up in there. Sorry for my pessimism. This doesn't even belong to my post. It's just an introduction.
About 12 years ago, Google was introduced, released to the public, and became a search giant eventually on the World Wide Web. It also became an index of websites on the world wide web. And as we would witness this by searching a keyword, such as "Google," and will have about 2.1 billion results occupied right in front of you in just .16 seconds!
I often dreamt of having just one popularity over the world. And so, I made expendable websites, profiles, and blogs, though I know I won't use them. I then had the number 1 spot with the search keyword "Josh Medrano" (my name). Months after, I am not already in the first spot, and I am nowhere in the first page. I didn't care actually.
Months later again, actually on April of this year, Google released the "search me" feature. [related link: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/search-for-me-on-google.html] And now I can search for me! And see myself on the first page everyday. (Isn't that very exhilarating?) Anyway, if you are seeking some popularity or if you don't have one, you might like get one by registering a profile account from Google, create/edit your profile, and search for yourself in the homepage! By registering also, you will get the Web Winning Gmail (that's the best email program you'll ever have!), Google Apps (free; it's a document editor system, with Powerpoint, Word, and Excel; you can also save word files to pdf!), and it will also integrate with Blogger, Feedburner, Orkut, and Youtube--all Google services. Enjoy!
